How to Enable Image Thumbnails on Windows 7 or 8?
Step 1
Open your computer’s Control Panel and locate the option System. It is circled in the image below.
Step 2
Double click on the system option to open it; a window (image attached below) will show up; click on the Advanced System Settings and proceed to the third step.
Step 3
On the Advanced System Settings window, click on the Advanced and then Settings
Step 4
At this point, you’re face to face with the solution you need. On this settings menu, carefully observe all the options listed and check for the particular one with this name – Show Thumbnails instead of Icons. Tick on the check box beside this option and then hit the Apply button followed by the OK button.
Your thumbnails should be showing by now.
